Defining success

Before getting into the affirmations, it’s important to think about what success means to you. It isn’t the same for everyone and it likely isn’t the same definition every day.

During a tough time, you may define success as getting out of bed and taking a shower. For better times, when you’re determined, success could mean getting that promotion you’ve always wanted.

It’s perfectly acceptable to have a rolling definition of success that is defined BY YOU! Not society, not social expectations, not your family or partner.

Success is what you decide it to be! Achieving it should also come with motivation, playfulness, love, compassion and hope. If your definitions of success are shrouded with pressure, judgement and shaming, maybe it’s a good time to readjust your meaning of what success is.
