Christmas Cards for teachers
Before getting into the different card ideas, it’s important to think about the religious background of the teacher. Are they a practicing Christian or do they prefer to be less religious? This can help you choose which card would be right for them.
1. Puntastic holiday card
If your kid’s teacher appreciates a good pun, then they’ll certainly love this adorable one! It has peas wishing a “hap-pea Christmas to the best teacher”. Ha!
Inside is blank so you can fill the card with best wishes for the holidays and the upcoming new year. Bear in mind, it is a larger card, since it measures 8.5″ x 11″.
2. Fill in the blanks card to teacher
Your kid won’t be a stranger to fill in the blank exercises, so they shouldn’t have too much trouble filling in their favorite things about their teacher.
Do a practice run with your child on blank paper so you can check their spelling before they write on the card.
3. Note paper card for an A+ teacher
This card looks like a notepad with fun holiday doodles on it. It’s cute and has an already printed thank you message inside. The company that makes it is a small, US-based, family owned business that donates to an animal charity. How great is that?
4. Chalkboard looking holiday cards
Bring in some nostalgia this holidays with these chalkboard-inspired Christmas cards. They’re all about celebrating a special teacher. And the snowman one is a tad bit punny!
These also have a similar chalkboard vibe and are just as sweet! There are a few beautiful religious ones too!
5. Cute thank you card
If you’re looking for a simple Christmas card that isn’t overtly holiday themed, then this card is perfect! It has a cute, star-shaped cookie with the message “thanks for making me a smart cookie”. The sweetness continues inside with a short, kind message!
6. Thanks for making school merry!
This is definitely another simple Christmas card for teacher. While blank on the inside, it says “thank you for making school merry and bright” on the outside. It’s wonderfully cheery and fun, though super simple.
7. Elegant Christmas tree card
If you’d rather a more elegant teacher’s card, this one from the Papyrus Store may be exactly what you’re looking for. It has a beautiful, colorful Christmas tree design on the outside and a simple, thoughtful Christmas greeting on the inside.
It looks expensive but actually works up to be a little over a dollar for one! Did I mention it comes with gold sticker seals?
8. Rainbow Merry Christmas card
This rainbow-inspired Merry Christmas card looks like a watercolor painting and has a pleasant gratitude message for the special teacher on the front. Inside is blank so you can write more best wishes and holiday greetings there.
9. Christmas cartoon fun!
If cute is your theme, then these cartoony Christmas cards are perfect for you to gift! They are not teacher specific, so you can give them to family and friends too. There are also thoughtful holiday wishes on the inside.
10. Simple holiday gratitude
Here’s another super simple teacher Christmas card. It comes with a sweet appreciative message on the outside and has a unique snowflake seal for the envelope.
11. Religious Christmas cards
If you want to gift a more religious card, then these are perfect! They have beautiful sayings like “peace on earth”, “oh Holy Night” and “come let us adore him” on the outside with starry backgrounds. Inside is left blank, so you can even write in beautiful quotes, verses and scripture.
12. Gingerbread pop up card
For an incredibly unique Christmas card, you have to check out this pop-up one from Hallmark. It’s a pop-up gingerbread house with a tiny train on the side. It is a little pricier, but it’s definitely a memorable and thoughtful surprise for your kid’s teacher.
13. Pop up paper Christmas tree (with card)
Speaking of pop-ups, here’s a unique gift idea that comes with a little greeting card. It’s a paper Christmas tree that the teacher can assemble and decorate with paper ornaments that come with it! Write your best holiday wishes in the card that comes with everything too!
Oh and you can swap the Christmas tree for a nativity scene too!
