Holidays and celebrations
It’s important to talk to parents when planning these Christmas treats.
Not everyone celebrates Christmas or participates in the religious aspects of the holiday. So, it’s good to know ahead of time what their preferences are. Those students can receive other fun gifts that aren’t holiday related.
Of course, most parents won’t be fussy about things like this, but it’s still really nice to confirm before purchasing gifts.
Student Christmas gifts from teacher
1. Christmas paper ornaments
How much fun would it be to make Christmas tree ornaments in class? These are made with cardstock and come in Christmas tree, gingerbread, and snowman designs. Oh and there are lots of stickers that the kids can use to customize their ornaments.
You can also repurpose old cardstock and art supplies and have the kids make their own hand-made ornaments in class.
2. Wood ornaments
Painting or coloring wood ornaments may be more fun for the older kids. These come with acrylic paint, markers, glitter, and gem stones in designs like snowflakes, balls, Christmas trees and more.
3. Fun holiday glasses
If you are planning on having a classroom Christmas party, these fun holiday glasses would be great gifts for the students. They’ll surely enjoy wearing them and teachers can get in on the action since the glasses fit most adults and kids.
Add these Christmas themed headbands to the holiday glasses for more fun and smiles!
4. Christmas slap bracelets
Small, silly and inexpensive, slap bracelets can be fun student Christmas gifts, especially for the younger ones. The kids will certainly enjoy fidgeting with them! These come with Santa, reindeer, Christmas tree and snowman designs.
5. Snowman modeling clay
Here’s another great Christmas classroom activity that can double as student holiday keepsakes! These snowman modeling kits are perfect for middle schoolers to have fun with.
The kits come with non-toxic, air dry clay and lots of snowman accessories.
6. Bubble wands
These students gifts are better suited for the much younger kids, though the older ones would still have fun blowing bubbles. These wands come with snowflake, Christmas tree and Santa designs.
7. Christmas pens plus cards
A simple pen and meaningful card can be a wonderful Christmas gift for the students. These are incredibly simple but festive!
8. Stationery goodie bags
This would probably be my favorite gift if I were still a student. I absolutely love stationery and these Christmas themed ones are so cute! This set comes with pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, stickers and bracelets. Allow the kids to choose from the penguin, reindeer, Santa, snowmen and other designs.
9. Mini building block toys
Legos are always a hit! But, these building block toys are not branded so they’re a lot less expensive. Let the kids pick their favorite and give them time to play in class and assemble the blocks!
These gifts would be more suited for middle schoolers since the tiny blocks could be a choking hazard for smaller kids.
10. Stamps
Stamps make great stocking stuffers and these Christmas stamps can be fun, tiny treats to give the kids for the holidays. They are pretty cheap and come in fun designs like stockings, snowman, gingerbread, candy, and more.
11. Christmas coloring books
If stamps aren’t enough, how about getting this Christmas coloring set with coloring books, stamps, stacking crayons, stickers, and more? They are adorable and come with so many designs (not just the ones below!).
12. Holiday smencils
Hear me out – pencils with holiday scents as student gifts! These cute HB pencils are made with recycled materials and range in scents from mint, gingerbread and berry.
13. Christmas multi-color pens
Gift your students these adorable Christmas themed multicolor pens. There are 10 colors for them to doodle with. Plus the pens come with adorable holiday paper clips and sticky notes.
14. Mochi squishy toys
Squishy toys always make great gifts for students. These are Christmas themed and come as Christmas trees, stars, decorations, reindeer and more. They are beyond adorable and would make great gifts for fellow teachers too! I mean squishy toys and stress balls are the same, aren’t they?
15. Slingshot dino finger toys
This isn’t Christmas themed but it’s still pretty fun! These are slingshot dinosaur toys that are super soft, sticky, bouncy and made of rubber. They’re also colorful and can be fun fidget toys too.
16. Light up rings
If you are having a children’s Christmas party in school, these light up rings would be a pretty fun surprise for the kids. They are sure to make the students giggle. It’s a small gift but the joyful memories would certainly be priceless!
17. Christmas bags
This may not be a Christmas gift in itself but it’s a great on-theme bag to fill up with holiday treats. Add their favorite snacks, chocolate, and stocking stuffers to the bags. Don’t forget some treats for the parents too!
Those are my ideas for student Christmas gifts from teacher to student. They are inexpensive, small and sometimes silly gifts but they’re meaningful. The kids are sure to appreciate them!
