So what’s a burr basket?

Burr baskets (or brr baskets) are a play on boo baskets and general gift baskets. They are all about gifting a cute basket filled with comfy and cozy treats.

Blankets, winter-themed candles, scents, and goodies are all perfect for the burr basket. Of course, it’s your best friend and you’ll know exactly what she’ll love.

So, curate fun, Christmas, holiday and winter-themed gifts to get her! Here are some of my ideas that hopefully give you some inspo.

1. Cozy blankie

A soft, sensory blanket is a great starter gift for the burr basket. You can DIY and sew one yourself or crochet it. If you can get your hands on blanket yarn, you can knit a soft one with no tools – just your fingers.

If you don’t have the time or aren’t the crafty type, get a wonderful blankie online. I’m such a fan of this weighted blankie.

2. Pillows

Can she have too many pillows? Probably … not!

Get her some adorable new throw pillows or pillow covers. Go with a Christmas and winter theme for her burr basket. Or get pillow covers with funny sayings that’ll make her laugh every time she sees them.

3. Comfy sweaters

It’s winter so keep bestie warm with a comfy and cozy sweater. It could have an adorable graphic on the front or you can customize it with her name on it. Or take it to the luxury side and get her a cashmere sweater.

Don’t stop at sweaters, get a sweet Christmas t-shirt for her burr basket. Like the sweaters, you can customize the tees with funny inside jokes or unique designs.

No burr basket is complete without some warm, cozy socks. I have raved about these cloud socks in just about every one of my gift ideas posts for besties so I just have to include them here. They’re so comfy!

Does your best friend enjoy soft, cuddly stuffed toys? Get her some plushies for her bed, couch or even her car. When you’re not around to give her a hug, she can give the plushie a squeeze!

Small decor items for her desk or even her room would be beautiful additions for her burr basket. You can go for unique paintings, fake succulents, cute desk signs, fidget toys and decorative gadgets for her workspace.
